Project: Open Arms
I am launching a movement called OPEN ARMS!!!
What comes to mind when you think about arms stretched outward?
In my mind I think of complete openness, acceptance,
fearlessness, embracing, doubtless, judge less, non-violent and loving.
This is what I want my mantra to be walking through life and open armed
approach to everyone and everything... there is so much hate, judgement,
anger, racism, violence and the list goes on... Where this all begins, is
having a close minded approach to life, not embracing each person as a
unique piece of art.
Sure we have differences, but it is our differences that make us beautiful...
We are all part of a grand tapestry, each adding our own color and texture..
My hope is to start a wave of acceptance for all walks of life, to open
arms and doors and minds to the incredible wonderfulness that lies within
each of us!!! I have designed a little fellow made from a tree twig I named
Beacon... I am going to make lots of beacons, and they will be necklaces to
be worn to remind folks when they see this symbol to have an open armed
approach to everyone.. to embrace differences, and try to find beauty
instead...to let go of fear, hate, anger, and prejudice...
And so begins Open Arms!!!
